The ICAP Romania corporate website, the third market in the group to get the same treatment and the one where the shared template earned its keep.
About the client
ICAP Romania BIS is the Romanian arm of the ICAP Group, providing credit risk management and business information services.
Project Overview
ICAP Romania needed the same thing its sister companies did: a main communication channel that presents services and corporate information without making a visitor work for it.Built on WordPress, structured for content-heavy corporate pages that stay easy to update. By this point the pattern was known, which is the real advantage of doing three sites inside one group. Decisions already made once didn’t get re-litigated.Group branding on one side, local market needs on the other, and a structure flexible enough to hold both.
The Challenge
Consistency with the group is easy to state and annoying to implement, because local content never quite fits the shape the template expects. The fix is to build slack into the template rather than exceptions into the pages.
My Contribution
I built the site on WordPress: core structure, templates and content organisation, aimed at something the team could keep updating on their own.Standard SEO and performance practice throughout, with the corporate look the group requires.
