About the client
Prosperty IKE is a proptech startup developing a platform for property search and management.
Project Overview
Location and proximity were core parts of the search model rather than just another filter. This affected backend queries as well as the way the frontend presented maps, results and combined filters.
The Challenge
Geospatial search required careful attention to performance and combinations of multiple filters. At the same time, startup requirements changed frequently, so refactoring had to be part of everyday development.
My Contribution
I worked full-stack, participated in architectural decisions, implemented features and restructured modules and data flows related to search.
