The 2Parts business management platform brings finances, orders, payroll and internal workflows into one system, with financial dashboards for the people running it.
About the client
2Parts needed structured systems for financial operations, orders, personnel and customer relationships, with accurate numbers visible rather than reconstructed at month end.
Project Overview
The brief was consolidation. Financial data, orders, customer information and internal workflows had been living in separate places, and the cost of that is paid daily in reconciliation.The financial dashboards are the centre of it: revenues, payments, collections, overall performance. Not decoration. This is the screen somebody opens to decide whether the month is going well, and it has to be right.Around that sits the operational half: order management, customer and employee administration, payroll, and supplier workflows. Each of those was previously a manual process stitched between tools.Email and video integration went in too, so communication happens where the work happens rather than in a separate application nobody updates.
The Challenge
The challenge was breadth. A lot of distinct features had to work independently and stay tightly connected, which is the tension in any system that tries to be the single place a business operates from.Data consistency across payments, payroll, orders and financial reporting is where that gets serious. Numbers that disagree between two screens destroy trust in the whole platform, so the backend design and the frontend workflows both had to protect against it.
My Contribution
Full-stack, designing and implementing both ends.I built the management interfaces and financial dashboards with Tailwind CSS and Vuetify. Large volumes of data had to be readable rather than merely present. Data-heavy views are their own skill, and most of the effort goes into what you leave out.The Laravel backend covers order management, payroll, payments, collections, and the email and video integrations. The goal was a system the business can keep running on and keep extending.
