Adidas AG – B2B Sales Desktop Application
Frontend development of a lightweight desktop application for Adidas, created to support B2B marketing and sales teams with customer data and document management. The application was built as an internal productivity tool focused on usability and speed.

About the client

Adidas AG is a global sportswear and lifestyle brand operating complex B2B and wholesale ecosystems alongside its consumer-facing platforms. Internal digital tools play a critical role in supporting sales teams and operational workflows across markets.

Project Overview

This project involved building a small but focused desktop application for Adidas’ B2B marketing and sales department. The tool was designed to help sales representatives manage customer-related information and organize sales and marketing documents efficiently. The application supported internal workflows where speed and accessibility were essential. By running as a desktop application, it enabled sales teams to access critical information without relying solely on browser-based tools, improving day-to-day productivity. The interface focused on clarity and simplicity, ensuring that customer records and associated documents could be accessed and managed with minimal friction. The application was tailored specifically to the needs of B2B sales operations. Although compact in scope, the project required alignment with enterprise standards and internal processes, ensuring that the delivered tool fit seamlessly into Adidas’ broader B2B ecosystem.

The Challenge

One of the main challenges was delivering a reliable internal tool within a short timeframe while meeting enterprise expectations around usability and consistency. Designing a desktop-based user experience that felt responsive and intuitive required careful attention to frontend structure and interaction patterns.

My Contribution

I worked as a frontend developer on the project, responsible for designing and implementing the user interface of the desktop application. I built the application using Vue.js, focusing on clean component structure and predictable user interactions. The application was packaged using Electron, enabling deployment as a cross-platform desktop tool for internal use by sales teams. Throughout the engagement, I collaborated with stakeholders to ensure that the tool addressed real operational needs while remaining lightweight, maintainable and easy to use.
