Adidas AG – B2B Sales Desktop Application
A lightweight desktop application for Adidas B2B sales, bringing customer data and sales documents into one place. Packaged with Electron for frequent daily use.

About the client

Adidas AG runs large B2B and wholesale operations alongside its consumer business. The internal tools behind those sales teams rarely get attention, and they do a lot of the work.

Project Overview

This was a small application for the Adidas B2B marketing and sales department, built so sales representatives could manage customer information and find the right sales or marketing document without hunting for it.It runs on the desktop rather than in a browser, and that was the point. A tool used throughout the working day should start quickly and stay open, rather than compete for attention with the rest of a representative’s browser tabs. The interface is deliberately plain. Customer records and their documents, reachable in as few steps as possible. Nothing else was added, because everything added to an internal tool is something a busy person has to look past.Small scope, enterprise context. It still had to fit Adidas’ internal standards and processes, which is usually where compact projects turn out to be less compact than they looked.

The Challenge

The challenge was a short timeline against enterprise expectations. Internal does not mean forgiving, and consistency with how everything else at that scale behaves is part of the specification.A desktop experience also has its own conventions. Users expect it to feel like an application rather than a website in a frame, and that comes down to interaction detail more than architecture.

My Contribution

Frontend developer, responsible for designing and implementing the interface.I used a clean component structure and predictable interactions, then packaged the application with Electron for cross-platform desktop deployment to the sales teams.I worked with stakeholders on keeping it targeted at the actual operational need, which mostly meant saying no to features that would have made it heavier without making it more useful.

Technology Stack
