Reveall B.V. (Next) – Event Technology Platform Frontend Redesign
Frontend architecture redesign and application restructuring for Reveall B.V., now operating as Next. The project focused on rebuilding the frontend foundation, improving maintainability and supporting the long-term evolution of a modern event technology platform.

About the client

Next (formerly Reveall B.V.) is an event technology company building digital solutions for live experiences and event engagement. The platform focuses on modern, scalable tools that support event organizers and digital-first experiences across the event ecosystem.

Project Overview

This project focused on the frontend redesign and architectural restructuring of the Next application, previously known as Reveall. The goal was to establish a strong and maintainable frontend backbone capable of supporting future product growth and evolving feature requirements. The application required a clear separation of concerns and a scalable UI architecture, as the existing frontend needed improvement in structure and consistency. The redesign addressed core architectural decisions, component hierarchy and layout systems. A major part of the work involved designing and implementing reusable custom components, ensuring consistency across the application while reducing duplication and long-term maintenance cost. Vuetify and Bootstrap were used strategically to support complex layouts and interface patterns. The resulting frontend architecture provided a cleaner, more predictable foundation for ongoing development, enabling the product team to iterate faster while maintaining UI consistency and code quality.

The Challenge

One of the main challenges was redesigning an existing application without disrupting ongoing product development. Architectural decisions needed to be forward-looking while remaining compatible with existing workflows and features. Balancing rapid delivery with long-term maintainability was a key focus, requiring careful consideration of component boundaries, layout systems and styling strategies.

My Contribution

I worked as a frontend engineer with a strong architectural focus, contributing to the redesign and restructuring of the application's frontend. My role involved defining the UI architecture, guiding component design and establishing a scalable foundation for future development. I collaborated closely with designers and product stakeholders to translate design concepts into a coherent frontend structure, ensuring that visual changes aligned with technical constraints and long-term goals. Throughout the engagement, I focused on building a robust frontend backbone using Vue.js, custom components, Vuetify and Bootstrap, delivering a maintainable and extensible UI system.
